Position Title: Sales Account Executive

Department: Sales & Client Relations

Position Summary

The Sales Account Executive supports the long-term stability and growth of Bed, Bath N' Basics. The role involves more than securing new business. It requires someone who can provide consistent and dependable support to clients, maintain strong and healthy relationships, and build processes that help the business operate smoothly.

The Sales Account Executive can recognise what people genuinely need and deliver solutions with precision, warmth, and meaningful results. They focus on creating transformation for clients rather than completing simple transactions. They are proactive, organised, and consistent, particularly in fast-moving or complex situations. They bring clarity to busy environments and maintain energy when pursuing opportunities.

This is a role for someone who values structure, follow-through, and reliability. The Sales Account Executive will help strengthen our internal systems, improve the client experience, and contribute to a stable foundation for continued business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Relationship Management

* Build and maintain genuine, long-term relationships through clear communication and steady follow-through.
* Listen deeply to understand client needs and identify opportunities to offer meaningful support.
* Present solutions with clarity and sincerity, focusing on long-term outcomes over short-term gains.
* Provide regular updates and check-ins to ensure clients feel supported and informed.
* Position the company as a trusted partner by consistently delivering value and demonstrating care.

2. Ensuring Business Continuity and Dependability

* Serve as a reliable and consistent point of contact for both clients and internal teams.
* Maintain structured and accurate documentation to support continuity when others rely on your records.
* Anticipate potential issues early and take proactive steps to prevent disruptions.
* Manage daily workflows with steadiness, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
* Uphold predictable and dependable practices that reassure clients and support the wider business.

3. Process and Systems Development

* Develop and refine client-facing processes that improve clarity, efficiency, and consistency.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM to support internal coordination and planning.
* Create structured workflows for onboarding, follow-ups, and communication touchpoints.
* Identify gaps or opportunities for improvement in existing systems and recommend practical solutions.
* Support the implementation of scalable processes that improve service quality and team alignment.

4. Business Development and Growth

* Identify new business opportunities through sincere engagement and thoughtful discovery.
* Qualify leads using clear criteria and maintain consistent standards in assessing potential clients.
* Prepare and present tailored proposals that address client needs and add genuine value.
* Support sustainable revenue growth through ethical, relationship-centred sales practices.
* Maintain a healthy and active pipeline to ensure consistent business momentum.

5. Collaboration Across Teams

* Work closely with operations, logistics, customer service, and management to deliver a seamless client experience.
* Share accurate, complete, and organised handover information to support smooth execution.
* Communicate client requirements clearly and ensure teams have everything they need to deliver.
* Participate in internal discussions and offer insights that help enhance service quality.
* Contribute to a collaborative work environment by being dependable, respectful, and solution-focused.

6. Reporting and Documentation

* Maintain accurate and comprehensive client records, including notes, follow-ups, and status updates.
* Prepare regular reports on key accounts, pipeline health, and upcoming opportunities.
* Monitor progress against KPIs and adjust strategies where needed to remain on track.
* Document process improvements, learnings, and client insights for team reference.
* Use data and structured information to guide decision-making and strengthen client support.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
* Prior experience in sales, account management, business development, or customer service is an advantage.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to listen deeply and respond appropriately.
