Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for helping others. As a Dental Assistant at Braithwaite's Family Dental, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clinicians and ensuring a positive experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist clinicians during various dental procedures.
* Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
* Ensure patients are comfortable before, during, and after dental treatments.
* Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
* Perform laboratory tasks as instructed by the dentist.
* Handle general administrative and clerical duties as needed.

Experience & Attributes:
* Certificate III and experience in Dental Assisting is desirable. However, training is available to suitable candidate.
* Have an open, positive, proactive, responsible personality.
* Demonstrated initiative, time-management & flexibility.
* Ability to multi-task and function in a team.
* Strong written & verbal communication skills.
* High standard of presentation.
* Attention to detail.
* Open to learning and updating procedural skills.
* Evidence of vaccination to NSW Health requirements or willingness to update immunisation.
