Restaurant Manager
Location: Busselton WA. Employer: The Vasse Tavern.
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 a year.
The Vasse Tavern is in the heart of Busselton and has been a major attraction for locals and visitors to the beautiful town for multiple decades. It offers an à la carte style menu, with indoor or alfresco dining, providing a relaxing environment for luncheons, afterwork sundowners, or a fabulous evening out with family and friends.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and proactively manage the operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts, both front of house and back of house. Coordinate bookings (including functions and events) and ensure smooth operation.
Generate customer satisfaction by responding appropriately to customer concerns, and handle any customer conflicts or issues that may arise.
Train new employees and provide ongoing training.
Manage stock purchasing and control, support management to achieve targets/goals, maintain budgets and minimum stocks. Ensure safety, sanitation, and security procedures.
Develop and implement restaurant policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
Cert III in Hospitality or relevant management qualification.
At least two years of relevant experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of OH&S requirements and ability to lead by example.
