Human Resource Advisor (Training & Development) – Full Time, Tennant Creek NT. Role at Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation.
About The Role
Reporting to the Executive Manager Human Resources, the Human Resources Advisor (Learning & Development) is responsible for leading and supporting learning & development initiatives across the organisation. This role designs, implements, and evaluates training programs that build workforce capability, support career development, and promote culturally safe practices in alignment with the organisation's values.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with Executive Managers to maintain/update Job Descriptions.
* Identify training and development needs through consultation with staff and managers through the Performance Review process.
* Provide guidance, support and arrange learning programs that support professional growth, cultural competency, and clinical excellence.
* Coordinate external training providers and manage training logistics and budgets.
* Develop and maintain a training calendar and learning management system (LMS) in conjunction with a HRIS.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and suggest improvements based on feedback and outcomes.
* Support career development pathways, including mentoring, coaching and succession planning.
* Promote continuous learning and a positive learning culture across the organisation.
* Ensure all learning initiatives reflect cultural safety and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
* Consult with the Cultural Competency Group (CCG) to ensure culturally appropriate training delivery.
* Participate in HR projects focused on improving learning & development practices.
* Maintain accurate employee records and learning and development documentation.
* Use HRIS and other systems for tracking progress and generating reports.
* Comply with All Anyinginyi policies and procedures, including use of approved IT programs for electronic data management.
Required Essential Skill And Experience
* Respect for and responsiveness to Aboriginal culture and protocols including support for Aboriginal self-determination.
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Education, Organisational Development, or a related field.
* Demonstrated experience in learning and development or workforce capability roles.
* Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and project management skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Ability to work respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Desired Knowledge And Qualification
* Experience working in an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation or similar setting.
* Knowledge of local community dynamics and cultural protocols.
* Commitment to the principles of self-determination and community control.
Remuneration & Benefits
* Salary: $97,616 - $114,534 per annum
* Salary packaging up to $15,899.94 pa.
* Subsidised accommodation for candidates outside the Barkly region
* Up to $5,000 relocation assistance and up to $5,000 repatriation assistance
* 6 weeks annual leave as well as personal/carer's leave up to 10 days per year
* Remote retention allowance of $750
* Study leave can be negotiated

* Free General Dentistry (Lab Work to be paid by employee)
