The Marketing Discipline Group within the UTS Business School is inviting applications for a Lecturer (Level B) or Senior Lecturer (Level C) to join the team in the Marketing Discipline on a full-time continuing basis.
Detailed Description
About the role
As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, your core responsibilities will include;
* High quality of teaching for undergraduate and/or postgraduate classes
* Contributing to subject development
* Initiating and executing research projects which lead to publication in top marketing journals
* Applying for internal and external; competitive research grants and industry research funding
To be successful in the role, you will have;
* A PhD in Marketing or related field
* Expert knowledge of quantitative methodologies with strong analytical skills and the ability to teach analytical subjects
* Fluent in Mandarin and/or English: ability to read, write, and speak both languages confidently in a professional environment
* Ability to build productive professional relationships and work effectively as part of a team
* Ability to work with students from a diverse range of backgrounds
* Established track record of publication in top marketing journals
* Experience in successfully teaching marketing subjects at the undergraduate or at the postgraduate level
* Ability to supervise PhD students to completion

Base Salary Range: $125,240 - $174,841 pa (Level B/C)
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.
This position is full-time and an appointment will be made on a continuing basis.
