Overview
We're on the hunt for a reliable and hands-on Mechanical Seal Repair Technician to join our Acacia Ridge team. In this role, you'll be the go-to person responsible for running the repair and rebuild facility and responding to sales enquiries for new seals and repairs. If you enjoy hands-on work, spotting issues before they become problems, and being part of a team that values safety and quality, this is the role for you
Duties and Responsibilities
* Stripping, assessment and all aspects of repair and testing of mechanical seals
* Assembly of custom mechanical seals
* Attending to sales enquiries for new mechanical seals and seals repairs
* Maintenance of the repair equipment and conditioning of lapping plates etc
* Submission of customer quotations in a timely manner
* Preparing seal condition reports, clearly identifying & articulating failure modes
To be successful
* Mechanical seal repair experience proven through work history
* Computer literate
* Excellent organisational skills
* Ability to work autonomously
* Excellent technical reporting skills
* Strong understanding of mechanical seal technology and repair process
