About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Management and Maintenance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management unit, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and effective operation of our facilities.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, supervising, and delivering a range of facilities management tasks. This includes planned and reactive maintenance activities, as well as other duties related to facilities management and maintenance.
You will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to facilitate timely responses and outcomes. Your expertise in asset management, financial management, and problem-solving skills will be essential in this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience working collaboratively in a team environment
* Sound understanding of asset and related financial management
* Able to read and interpret drawings, service/management contracts legislation and codes relevant to building industry maintenance standards
* Well-developed oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills in both individual and group work
* Able to respond quickly and appropriately in reactive or emergency facilities maintenance situations
