Waterex have a 50-year reputation for delivering in difficult environments where others couldn't and are expanding our operations and team. We are currently looking for a passionate chemical or process engineer to join the team on a 12-month contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of engineering disciplines and hands on training from renown industry experts.
The position:
Selection and sizing equipment, with our team, to ensure targeted performance outcomes
Design, develop and implement chemical program to facilitate the first item
Ensure that the above are economically, environmentally and ethically viable
Conduct tests, where possible, to assist the above
Ensure regulatory compliance for all tasks bearing in mind that different clients have different regulatory requirements
Troubleshoot problems with processes and equipment in conjunction with other team members as required
Assist client plant operations on a case-by-case basis as requested.
Schedule and coordinate projects to deliver our commitment to timeliness and quality within budgets
About you:
Chemical or process engineering qualification
2 + years engineering experience, ideally with exposure to onsite work
Demonstrated organizational skills and systematic approach to work
Dedication to providing quality, technically sound customer solutions
Willingness to learn -not one of our solutions are ever the same
Ability to complete a full medical prior to commencement
Availability for approximately 3 international site visits per year (no longer than 2 weeks in duration)
