Dynamic Diesel Services is an established diesel mechanic company based on the northern end of the Gold Coast (Stapylton).
We are seeking a Workshop Manager to manage our busy and dynamic workshop on a full-time basis working Monday through to Friday.
Responsibilities
* Managing, developing and mentoring a small team of mechanics/apprentices
* Day to day scheduling of all workshop bookings
* Recording and entering service and maintenance data
* Assisting with ordering of parts and equipment
* Ensuring the workshop is a safe work environment
* Ensuring all customers fleets are serviced and maintained to the highest standard
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a team leader or managing role within the automotive or heavy equipment repair industry
* Knowledge and hands-on experience with the repair and maintenance of trucks, trailers and earthmoving equipment
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of technicians.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality
* Proficient in using computerised maintenance and repair management systems, as well as standard office productivity software
* Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with our customers
* Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in automotive or heavy equipment repair are highly desirable, but not essential
* Heavy vehicle licence but not essential
