Lead our MH Connext Team and support recovery at Tenacious House. Make a real impact from the first point of contact.
About the Role
Be the Connection That Changes Lives
At Richmind WA, we know that recovery begins with connection. Whether someone is reaching out for mental health support for the first time or taking bold steps toward rebuilding their life, that first response can shape everything that follows.
We're looking for a compassionate, capable Community Mental Health Nurse Lead to guide our MH Connext team and provide leadership and support to Tenacious House, a service that walks alongside men recovering from addiction and mental distress.
This is a rare opportunity to lead a frontline service that ensures people get the right support, at the right time, and feel seen, heard, and supported from the very beginning of their journey.
What you'll do
In this role, you'll:
* Lead the day-to-day operations of MH Connext, ensuring services are timely, recovery-oriented, and person-centred
* Support and supervise the Tenacious House team member, ensuring they're well-connected to our broader clinical and community supports
* Provide regular supervision, coaching, and mentoring to build a confident and compassionate team
* Monitor waitlists, allocate referrals, and oversee clinical risk in partnership with the Senior Manager, Outreach and Specialised Services
* Liaise with internal services, hospitals, GPs, and community organisations to maintain strong referral pathways and partnerships
* Follow up on incidents, manage reporting, and contribute to service improvement through data, audits, and reflective practice
* Champion a safe, supportive and inclusive team culture, where people feel valued, supported and able to grow
What you'll bring
* AHPRA-registered Mental Health Nurse
* Experience supervising or leading a small team in a mental health or community setting
* Strong understanding of recovery-oriented and trauma-informed care
* Confidence working with complexity, risk, and referral pathways
* Excellent relationship-building skills with consumers, teams, and stakeholders
* Commitment to cultural safety, inclusion, and continuous learning
Why join Richmind WA?
Because we don't just support recovery—we live it, breathe it, and build everything we do around it. Our culture is grounded in our values of putting people first, being brave and exploring, living and breathing recovery, and promoting belonging and inclusion.
We also offer:
* Work-life balance in a supportive, person-first environment
* Salary packaging of up to $18,640 (increase your take-home pay)
* Birthday leave and Wellbeing leave days
* Long service leave after 5 years
* Opportunities to grow – ongoing learning and development, including LinkedIn Learning
* Support to thrive – Employee Assistance Program and core training for all staff
We're also proudly Rainbow Tick accredited and committed to working alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, valuing all forms of diversity in our workforce.
Ready to take the next step?
We'd love to hear from you.
Please submit your resume and a cover letter that tells us:
* Why you're passionate about this kind of work
* How your experience aligns with the role
* What recovery means to you
We're reviewing applications as they come in—so don't wait to apply.
