Job Description
We are seeking Timber Mill Operators to join our permanent full-time team at our Herons Creek site. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assisting in the end-to-end production of high-quality timber products.
Your day will involve operating various machinery, including circular and band saws, automatic stacking equipment, gas fired kilns, moulders & robotic packaging lines. You will also assist with product grading, identifying defects, accurately sawing and measuring timber, as well as moving, sorting and strapping timber for shipping and delivery.
In addition to your technical skills, you will possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment to produce work to a high standard.
As a Timber Mill Operator, you will be expected to maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols across the site.
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in machine operating, labouring, manual handling or in a production environment. A positive attitude at work, while being reliable and punctual, is essential. Strong commitment to safety is also crucial.
