About The Role
Bring your strategic leadership and hospitality expertise to the Food and Beverage team at K'gari Beach Resort. We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Operations Manager who is ready for their next career step and excited by the opportunity to embrace a unique remote coastal lifestyle.

Set in an unbeatable beachfront location, K'gari Beach Resort is accessible by 4WD and is the east coast’s gateway to the island’s most iconic natural attractions. The resort features 83 hotel rooms and apartments, along with a restaurant and bar, the renowned Eurong Bakery, and a general store, all set across expansive island grounds.

Responsibilities
Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the Resort’s Food and Beverage outletsDirectly manage McKenzie’s Restaurant and the Eurong BakeryLead and inspire teams to deliver exceptional customer service and memorable guest experiencesBuild and maintain a strong, positive team culture across all Food and Beverage operationsMaximise profitability while maintaining high service and quality standardsEnsure customer needs and service expectations are consistently met or exceededEnsure all team members are trained to the required standardsSupport, coach, and develop team members across all areas of the operation
What We’re Looking For
Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and engage diverse teamsProven work ethic with the ability to motivate others and achieve resultsHighly organised, detail‑focused and able to perform under pressureConfident in delegating, negotiating and managing day‑to‑day operationsExceptional grooming and professional presentation
Experience & Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Food & Beverage Manager or similar roleCurrent QLD RSA Certificate and sound knowledge of QLD Liquor Licensing Laws (essential)Food Safety Certificate (essential)RMLV Certificate or willingness to obtainCompetent in barista, beverage, à la carte and bar serviceFull Australian work rights
