Control Systems Engineer - Manufacturing (Yarraville, VIC)
CSR Limited is hiring for a full-time permanent Control Systems Engineer - Manufacturing (Yarraville, VIC) role at Yarraville, VIC. You will implement, manage, and maintain site automation assets to maximise benefits from new and improved technology on our Gyprock manufacturing site. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor.
In This Role You Will
- Champion a safety-first culture within the factory in pursuit of a zero-harm environment.
- Collaborate with employees and stakeholders to understand site automation performance and develop improvement strategies.
- Assist with automation and programming onsite with Allen-Bradley PLCs and SCADA.
- Develop and maintain control systems to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.
- Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, optimise performance, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining safety standards.
Experience with Rockwell Automation (Allen Bradley) PCs is highly advantageous; experience with other PLC systems such as Siemens, Mitsubishi Electric, ABB or Schneider Electric would also be advantageous.
What You Bring To The Role
- A Grade Electrical licence (Electrician Licence) or an Engineering Degree (Electrical/Mechatronics or similar) is advantageous.
- Experience in process control, automation, or related field.
- Industry experience in heavy industry, continuous process manufacturing or FMCG (advantageous).
- Experience with Robotics and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) within a manufacturing environment.
