About Your Opportunity
The Clinical Documentation Specialist will partner with the Clinical Coding team and clinicians to promote patient safety, data integrity and financial sustainability through continuous improvement of clinical documentation and accurate clinical coding. The role provides advice and guidance to stakeholders to optimise activity-based funding (ABF) at both the point of care and post-discharge.
Requirements
Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification (mandatory).
Highly desirable: Experience and/or knowledge of clinical coding and ABF.
Driver licence: Valid Class C (car) licence – verification required before commencement.
Travel: Ability to travel via small planes or ferry to other HHS facilities for clinical activities or meetings. This may involve day and/or overnight stays.
Vaccine-Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
