What does the job look like?
We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-focused driver / forklift operator (MC preferred, HC license considered) for our Mining Services operation based in Emerald to move general freight around Emerald and to mine site locations. You will work Monday – Friday from 6am. Key areas :
Participate in and commit to Linfox safety standards and COR requirements
Safely deliver mixed mining freight to customer mine sites in the southern Bowen Basin
Operate forklifts to load and unload trailers at our Emerald terminal
Securely restrain freight loads using dogs and chains, straps & binders
Providing excellent customer service while representing Linfox in a professional manner

You are an experienced and conscientious operator who takes pride in your excellent driving record and safe work history. You can demonstrate :
A commitment to safety in everything you do
Forklift license is essential
MC license preferred, HC license considered
A good understanding of load restraint techniques for mining freight
Sound knowledge of Chain of Responsibility, NHVR fatigue, and road transport regulations
Good customer service and communication skills
