Auto Electrician Role Summary
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our maintenance team. As part of this role, you will provide auto electrical support across both underground and surface workshops, performing breakdown and preventative maintenance on mobile equipment.
Roster and Location
The role involves an 8/6 roster with 12-hour shifts on a day shift. You will be based at the Peak Mine in Cobar, NSW.
Travel Options
Relocation support is available for residents, as well as discounted company housing and a residential allowance. DIDO options are also available for those living within an 800km radius of the mine site, with a travel allowance provided. FIFO options are available from Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.
Requirements
* Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology
* Cert II in Automotive Air Conditioning Technology (desired)
* Prior experience working in an underground hardrock mine
* Experience working on CAT Loader, Normet AGI and shotcrete equipment, Volvo and CAT Ancillary Equipment
* Excellent troubleshooting and diagnosing skills with equipment electrical and hydraulic systems
