We are seeking a skilled Cost Controller to join our team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage internal cost management systems and reporting tools effectively.
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow modeling processes.
* Analyse project costs across various categories, including labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors.
* Prepare detailed cost reports, forecasts, and variance analysis.
* Provide valuable insights to project managers and identify potential risks early on.
* Review and validate supplier and subcontractor claims accurately.
* Contribute to procurement reviews, pricing comparisons, and commercial decision-making.
* Coordinate with payroll, payables, and accounts to ensure accurate cost allocation.
About You:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a commercial or cost control role, preferably in construction or mining.
* Proficiency in Excel and ability to work with reporting tools and financial systems.
* Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication skills and confidence interacting with project managers, site teams, accounts, and leadership.
