City and Regional Cleaning is an award-winning commercial and strata cleaning business with a strong presence across Newcastle, the Hunter, Central Coast, and Sydney. With over a decade of consistent growth and long-standing relationships with strata managers, building managers, and commercial clients, we are now seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (Commercial & Strata) to lead our next phase of expansion.
This is a senior role for someone who understands the commercial and strata landscape and wants to make a measurable impact.
The Opportunity
As Business Development Manager, you will take ownership of growth across our commercial and strata portfolios, working with property managers, strata committees, facility managers, and commercial decision-makers.
Responsibilities
* Secure new commercial and strata contracts through strategic prospecting, tenders, and relationship-driven selling
* Conduct site inspections and develop tailored scopes of work aligned to compliance and client expectations
* Build and maintain strong relationships with strata managers, building managers, and committee members
* Identify and convert upsell opportunities across existing commercial and strata sites
* Represent City and Regional Cleaning in boardrooms, strata meetings, site walk-throughs, and industry events
* Work closely with operations to ensure smooth onboarding and consistent service delivery
* Provide clear reporting on pipeline, tender outcomes, and market activity directly to leadership
You will be trusted to operate autonomously, backed by a strong operations team that delivers what is promised.
About You
You are a commercially focused BDM with:
* Proven experience in commercial and/or strata business development (cleaning, facilities, or property services)
* A strong understanding of strata management structures, committee decision-making, and tender processes
* Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and influencing outcomes
* A track record of winning, retaining, and growing long-term contracts
* A professional, accountable approach aligned with our values
* Minimum 1-2 years of B2B business development experience is required
* Experience specifically in cleaning and facilities management services is preferred
* Must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position
