Advertised is an offsider (assistant) role, with potential to move up into leading hand position which has a vehicle provided and higher pay rates.

Experience within the garden maintenance and landscaping industry is desired but not essential; excellent interpersonal skills, a desire to learn new skills and a great attitude is what we are seeking.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
* Manual C class QLD driver's licence
* The right to work in Australia
* Willing to obtain a current police check.
* Applicants with qualifications in Horticulture and Landscaping are highly desirable.
* An enthusiasm for the natural environment and working outdoors is essential.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking an employee to join our team for approximately 30 - 38 hours / 4-5 days per week from Monday to Friday for an immediate start.
The position is on-going, beginning as an offsider to a Leading Hand, whilst receiving in-house training, with the intention of development & promotion to Leading Hand.
We pay above the industry award offering a starting rate of $32.47 + super per hour. Applicants with experience and qualifications in horticulture and basic landscaping attract a higher rate of up to $37 per hour + super + vehicle.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Operate a manual vehicle, occasionally with trailer
* Operate a range of garden & landscaping power tools
* Mow, snip & edge lawns
* Trimming & shaping hedges
* Pruning & lopping small to medium trees
* Weed management, identification, & herbicide treatment
* Daily work reports
* Mulch and fertilise green spaces
* Other basic property maintenance tasks that arise, and are required, outside of above duties
