This is an unusual and highly attractive role – a senior, strategic HR Business Partner position designed from the outset to operate effectively three days per week. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Procurement leaders, working at a genuinely strategic level while also handling complex ER matters and organisational challenges as they arise. This is not an "HR adviser" role compressed into fewer days – it is a senior role with clear scope, autonomy and expectations. You’ll be a trusted advisor to leaders, bringing commercial acumen, calm judgement and practical HR expertise to fast‑moving business decisions. Key accountabilities include: Acting as the primary HR partner to Melbourne‑based commercial leadership Providing strategic advice on organisational design, workforce planning and performance Coaching leaders through people decisions, leadership challenges and change Managing complex ER matters with confidence and sound judgement Leading end‑to‑end recruitment for commercial roles Supporting engagement, wellbeing and leadership capability initiatives Delivering core HR processes while contributing to broader HR priorities The Successful Applicant
Proven experience as a Senior HR Business Partner, ideally in Industrial, Manufacturing or FMCG industry Strong ER capability and influencing skills High level of commercial acumen and ability to partner credibly with senior leaders Pragmatic, solutions‑focused approach with strong stakeholder management skills You need to be based in Melbourne and having full working rights
