We are excited to welcome a full-time, enthusiastic Bus Driver – Wellbeing/Lifestyle Assistant to our team, supporting our Geelong sites across Wallington, Armstrong Creek and Belmont.
About the Role
The Bus Driver – Wellbeing/Lifestyle Assistant plays a key role in enhancing the wellbeing and lifestyle experience of our residents. You will support the design and delivery of meaningful activities and provide safe and reliable transport for residents attending outings, events and appointments.
What you'll be doing
* Provide safe transportation to external outings
* Manage boarding and exiting the bus to and from outings
* Ensure the safety and comfort of residents during transit
* Basic vehicle maintenance, cleaning and minor troubleshooting
* Provide the best person-centred care
* Support daily living that optimise our resident's independence, health, wellbeing, cultural beliefs and quality of life
* Support design and delivery of wellbeing programs
* Review and evaluation of wellbeing care plans and assessments
* Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure residents wellbeing needs are met
Qualifications and Requirements
* Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing)
* Cert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle
* Must hold a FULL current Drivers Licence
* Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards
* Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations
* NDIS Check (includes Police Check)
* Proof of eligibility to work in Australia
