Role Summary
People2people are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Assistant for a temporary assignment with a respected organisation in the agricultural supply industry. Known for innovation and quality, this business leverages the latest technology to deliver premium products to its customers. In this role, you will work independently within a modern warehouse environment, managing a variety of tasks including picking, packing, and dispatching goods. Flexibility with start and finish times is available for the right candidate, and you'll enjoy being part of a supportive team while ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse.
Responsibilities
* Pick, pack, and assemble kits and orders accurately
* Receive, store, and dispatch goods in a timely manner
* Maintain warehouse housekeeping and safety standards
* Identify hazards and follow correct procedures
* Operate forklift
About You
* Ability to work autonomously with strong initiative
* Ability to carry out manual handling duties such as lifting, bending, reaching, and stretching
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Previous experience in warehousing or similar roles
* Current LF forklift license is essential
* Interest in technology and electronics is a bonus
