Project Assistant, Customer Solutions

Are you a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a passion for driving operational excellence? We're seeking a motivated individual to join our team, working across multiple sentencing, indexing, and validation projects. The Government Records Repository (GRR) is the Commercial Services division of MHNSW, offering records management services to government departments. These services are aligned to the requirements outlined in the State Records Act 1998. The GRR operates a world-class storage facility in the Western Sydney Records Centre (WSRC) in Kingswood, NSW providing for the special storage requirements of records, their retrieval and ultimately their disposal. The GRR was established in 1955 and began operating from the WSRC site in 1974.

* Employment with Museums of History NSW
* Clerk Grade 1/2. Remuneration package includes salary ($75,728 - $82,329), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
* Full-time ongoing employment.
* Therole will work across Sydney.

Museums ofHistory NSW is a state cultural institution, established under the Museums ofHistory NSW Act 2022. It is an agency of the NSW Department of CreativeIndustries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport (DCITHS).

What you'll do with us:
This role will assist the Project Officer Customer Solutions with the day-to-day operations of the Information Processing team while supporting the optimisation of associated policies, procedures and guidelines to drive efficient and high-quality outcomes for the organisation and our customers.

What you need to do to apply

What you need to tell us - Targeted questions:

1. Our team delivers sentencing and indexing services to multiple government agencies using both hardcopy and digital formats. In less than 300 words Can you describe your experience with similar services and detail the quality assurance measures you implemented to ensure accuracy and reliable outcomes?
2. This role involves regular communication with both internal and external stakeholders, through verbal and written channels. In less than 300 words Can you provide examples of your experience in engaging with clients and managing stakeholder relationships?

Essential requirements of the role:

* Knowledge of, or ability to quickly acquire knowledge of, RS-SQL and the GRR's clients and basic business activities.
* Physically able to lift and move client files, records and storage boxes as required
* Comfortable working at heights up to 10m.
* Clear Understanding of Records management and Health Sentencing packages such as O'Neil Software's RS-SQL and CommServ database.
* Ability to participate in rosters depending on operational requirements.
* Pass a pre-employment health assessment measuring fitness to walk up to 10 kms per day, ability to work at heights above 10 meters above floor level and move/lift and store boxes of up to 7 kg weight.
