About This Opportunity
Step into a pivotal role at the heart of UQ Graduate School (UQGRS) as a Receptionist within the Enquiries Team. This is a high-profile, customer-facing position where your contribution ensures the smooth running of day-to-day office operations and supports the success of staff and students alike.
You will be at the forefront of providing exceptional client service, managing enquiries, coordinating office logistics, and supporting a wide range of administrative activities.

Key responsibilities
- Provide high-quality reception and administrative support, including managing enquiries, inboxes, and office logistics.
- Deliver client-focused service, responding to enquiries via phone, email, and in-person, and liaising with relevant staff as needed.
- Coordinate office operations, including facilities management, stationery and consumables procurement, postal and courier activities, and general equipment maintenance.
- Support the onboarding/offboarding of staff, assist with travel arrangements, and provide guidance for low-complexity HDR enquiries while referring others as appropriate.

About You
- Relevant qualifications or experience in administrative and reception roles
- Clear and confident communication, both verbal and written
- Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and building positive relationships
- Highly organised with effective time management and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
- Experience with CRM systems or other client management tools is advantageous
