About the Role
* Deliver legal advice, casework, and representation in family law and civil matters
* Contribute to community education and stakeholder engagement initiatives
* Provide holistic support in collaboration with allied community services
* Represent clients in courts and tribunals as appropriate
Key Requirements
* Hold an unrestricted practising certificate in Australia
* Court advocacy experience in family law and civil matters
* Familiarity with the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and Magistrates' Court processes
* Interest or experience in cross-jurisdictional issues such as tenancy, credit, debt, and family violence
* Understanding of trauma-informed practice and working with disadvantaged communities
