APG Workforce is currently seeking a dependable and highly organised Assistant Centre Administration Officer to support a government facility based in Goulburn.
This full-time, fixed-term opportunity is ideal for an experienced administrator who thrives in a structured, professional environment and demonstrates strong attention to detail.
* Pay Rate: $33 per hour (flat rate – applicable to both PAYG and ABN)
* Contract Duration: Immediate start through to 05/10/2026
* Location: Goulburn Correctional Complex
* Hours: 7 hours per day | 35 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to centre staff
* Maintain accurate records, including data entry and document control
* Manage correspondence, filing systems, and scheduling tasks
* Assist with the efficient day-to-day operations of the centre
* Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders when required
About You
* Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a professional or government environment
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard office systems
* Clear written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Pre-Employment Requirements
* Two recent professional referees
* Valid Fit2Work National Police Check (required prior to commencement)
