The Role
Join the Collins Submarine Program as a Logistics Assurance Team Leader and play a vital role in ensuring compliance and governance for Australia's submarine capability. In this APS 6 position, you will lead a team to deliver high-quality logistics assurance outcomes that support Defence's mission and policy requirements. You will be accountable under limited direction to perform and achieve complex logistics compliance and assurance tasks within an integrated workforce.
A successful candidate will demonstrate that they have experience and knowledge in the following areas:
* Compliance with legislative frameworks.
* Government decision-making.
* Defence's mission and policy requirements.
As the team leader of the Logistics Governance section, you will be responsible to provide direction, set work priorities, and manage workflow and resources. You will build the team capacity through coaching and feedback and will review and develop the quality of work undertaken by others within a work unit. You will exercise the associated people and financial responsibilities to achieve work unit outcomes.
About our Team
The Collins Submarine Program within the Naval Shipbuilding & Sustainment Group (NSSG) is responsible for the maintenance and programmed upgrade of Australia's Collins Class submarines. The Program works in partnership with the Royal Australian Navy and Industry to deliver the strategic submarine capability to the nation.

Key experience and skills include:
* Experience in interpreting and providing advice on Logistics legislative frameworks and Defence's mission and policy requirements.
* Lead a team, allocate work, develop strategies and evaluate business outcomes.
* Be accountable for organising workflow and making independent decisions to work through tasks and meet deadlines.
* Ability to build and sustain positive working relationships with a wide variety on internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience with S/4HANA SAP or similar Logistics Inventory systems.
* Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Have exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
* Demonstrate commitment to the Defence Behaviours.
