Key responsibilities
This role involves a mixture of corporate taxpliance and advisory work, including (but not limited to):
9. Research and assistance with tax consulting advice (such as tax consolidation, tax treaties, hybrid mismatches, Controlled Foreignpanies, withholding taxes, thin capitalisation, permanent establishments, AMITs etc.)
10. Research and assistance with preparing advice and calculations in connection with international tax issues
11. Assist clients with M&A activities, including tax structuring and tax due diligence services
12. Assist clients with ATO reviews,ernance matters and audits, as well as liaising with the ATO to obtain rulings for clients
13. Research and analysis of technical tax issues and preparation of tax reports
14. Preparation ofpany and trust tax returns, including consolidatedpany tax returns, for a wide range of large corporate clients
15. Preparation and review of tax-effect accounting calculations
16. Assistance with business development initiatives and proposals, including preparing for and attending meetings with clients
Skills and experience
Required
17. Tertiary and / or professional qualification(s) in a relevant discipline, or other relevant professional or overseas qualification(s)
18. Previous exposure to working with large corporate tax clients in amercial or professional services environment
19. Analytical skills and an inquisitive mindset, with a desire to deeply understand clients' businesses, challenges and confidence in applying knowledge to routine matters
20. Demonstrable strong work ethic andmitment to excellent client service

21. Professional accreditation(s) such as CA, CPA, CTA or equivalent overseas certification(s)
