Description:
We are seeking a Senior Finance Professional to manage budgeting, procurement, and financial reporting for ICT capability projects in a dynamic defence environment.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial management of the project in accordance with Commonwealth Rules and Regulations, providing effective administration of finances and budgets, including management of project record keeping requirements and systems; secretariat support for project meetings; development of briefs, monthly reports and budget plans.
Critical Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in effective administration of finances and budgets, financial records management, the development of financial reports and future budget planning. Including the use of Defence financial management systems.
* Ability to develop and successfully complete procurement submissions and supporting documentation in accordance with legislation and Commonwealth procurement guidelines and procedures.
* Contract management skills, including contract variations, receipt and review of contract deliverables and contract closures.
* High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office suite products.
* Experience with Defence Asset Management system.
* Thriving in dynamic environments and comfortable with ambiguity.
