Finance Manager

As the Finance Manager, you will partner with senior leaders across Procurement, Global Trading, Supply Chain and Energy. This is a high-impact role suited to someone who goes beyond the numbers – providing commercial insight, challenge and strategic guidance to help drive business performance.
Based at Essendon Fields, you'll lead a small team while working closely with key stakeholders, including senior executives and operational leaders, to shape financial outcomes and influence decision-making across complex business units.
What You'll Do:
* Act as a trusted Finance Business Partner across Procurement, Global Trading, Energy, Supply Chain and Visy Glass International/Visypak operations.
* Deliver financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis to drive performance and profitability.
* Provide commercial insight to support strategic initiatives, new business cases, and global trading strategies.
* Implement and maintain strong financial controls, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
* Lead a high-performing team, providing coaching, development and clear direction.
* Partner with cross‐functional leaders to improve systems, processes and cost management.
* Support continuous improvement and innovation across finance functions.
What You Will Bring:
* 10+ years' finance experience in commercial or operational environments.
* CA or CPA qualification.
* Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders and drive commercial outcomes.
* Strong leadership capability with experience managing and developing teams.
* High attention to detail, results focused, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Experience with SAP or Hyperion (advantageous).
