We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Administration Officer to join our team at St Anthony's Primary School. As the first point of contact for students, staff, and families, you will be the face of our school and play a vital role in fostering strong relationships and providing exceptional support.
This is an ongoing position with family-friendly hours from 8:30 AM to 4:36 PM, Monday to Friday during school terms. You will enjoy paid school holidays and have the opportunity to work in a welcoming and positive environment with passionate educators and supportive colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Represent the school as an initial point of contact, building strong relationships with students, staff, families, and visitors.
* Foster a positive work environment through collaboration with the administration team, leadership, staff, and the school community to achieve common goals, adapt to new ideas, and prioritize team success over individual achievements.
* Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
* Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work well with others.
* Show strong administrative, time management, and organizational abilities, including multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
You will be required to maintain accurate records, use business software applications, and support the Catholic ethos and vision of the School. A current working with Children Check and National Police Check will also be required.
We are looking for someone with experience in administration roles, preferably in a school setting, who can demonstrate their expertise in organization, communication, and multitasking. If you have a proven track record in relevant administrative roles, this could be the ideal opportunity for you to make a real difference in our vibrant school community.
Please note that employment terms and conditions are governed by the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 as an Education Support Employee Category B Level 2.
