Health Clinician Role
The Central Coast Local Health District is seeking a skilled Health Clinician to support the Senior Health Clinician in operationalizing the health components within the Joint Child Protection Response Program (JCPRP) in partnership with NSW Police and Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ).
This program responds to serious and criminal cases of sexual assault, physical abuse, and neglect of children and young people. The position requires collaboration with multiple stakeholders including NSW Police.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Social Work applicants must have tertiary qualifications in Social Work.
* Psiology applicants must have a degree from a recognized University.
* Clinical Psychologists are welcome but salary will be capped at Senior Psychology level.
Experience working alongside multiple stakeholders is essential as well as an advanced understanding of health service therapeutic responses to sexual assault.
