Riverland Almonds (RA) is one of the three major handlers of almonds in Australia. The South Australian company had its beginnings in 1986 in Renmark. New and increased plantings on the southern side of the River Murray led to the establishment of a new factory in 1997 at Loxton. The new state of the art, custom built, stand alone, facility has been modelled on the best facilities in California, where over 70 per cent of the world's almonds are grown and processed.
About the role of Production Operator:
Selecting product and recording product details.
Tip stock for grading and sorting, removal, and storage of finished product.
Loading trucks and recording details as required.
Unloading and storage of chemicals and packaging following approval
Receipt / unloading of goods.
Bin weighing and recording. Moving bins for different processes
Perform cleaning in work areas
Fill cartons, sacks, bags and bins as instructed when required.
Confirm that details printed on retail packs are legible and correct.
Check seals are tight.
Ensure packaging is aligned and straight.
Check for signs of contaminates and infestation
Ensure KPI's are met
