Job Description
As the Simulator Maintenance Technical Officer, you will operate, repair, overhaul, modify, test and/or calibrate any complex mechanical and hydraulic systems on simulators and simulator support equipment. This role will be responsible for the preventative and corrective maintenance on all full flight simulators and flight training devices.
Permanent full-time role with a 24 hour rotating shift roster.
To Be Successful, You'll Have
* Associate Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
* Simulator maintenance experience desirable
* Understanding of basic electronics associated with electrical and mechanical systems
* Ability to service, troubleshoot and rectify electric and hydraulic motion systems
* Understanding of software and associated utilities
* Electrical and mechanical experience associated with full flight simulators and flight training devices
* Ability to maintain visual and projector systems
* Computer networking skills desirable
* Aircraft systems knowledge desirable
* Sound written and communication skills
* OH&S awareness
