Early Childhood Educator
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our team. This full-time role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and education of young children in a nurturing and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of children through engaging and age-appropriate educational programs.
* Provide a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment aligning with the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline.
* Observe and document children's progress, using this information to tailor goals, planning cycles, and development plans for individual children.
* Collaborate with families and other professionals to support each child's individual needs.
* Participate in professional development activities to continuously improve teaching practices.
* E nsure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
Requirements
* A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care OR Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (qualifications must meet QKFS and Education and Care Services legislation).
* A positive notice blue card (working with children card).
* A Senior first aid certificate including CPR and training in Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
* Current Child Protection training or willingness to complete upon commencement.
* Knowledge of QKLG and EYLF curriculums.
* An understanding of NQF.
* The ability to relate to children, parents, and staff of various social/cultural backgrounds.
* A commitment to innovative practice in a high-quality early childhood service.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* A commitment to staying up-to-date with current best practices in early childhood education.
* A minimum of 12 months' experience working in early childhood education and care settings.
* A permanent right to work in Australia (Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa).
* This is a full-time position, requiring you to work between 7:30am and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
