About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated professional to support our litigation team and contribute to maintaining a smooth practice operation.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in legal administration or as a paralegal, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and familiar with legal practice management software.
They should also be able to manage multiple priorities effectively, handle deadline pressure calmly, and work collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities:
* Client-facing duties include greeting individuals, answering calls, providing information about services, communicating with clients, other lawyers, barristers, and court staff.
* Document and file management involve preparing legal correspondence and court documents, maintaining document management systems, opening and closing files, managing file lists, and tasks.
* Practice management includes diary management for multiple lawyers, invoicing and reconciling accounts, keeping track of deadlines, and ensuring nothing is overlooked.
