Retail Manager – Pilbara WA
Our business is the leading provider of quality tools and fire protection services in regional Western Australia.
We stock a huge range of Kincrome, Milwaukee and SP tools, as well as fire equipment and safety gear.
We are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to join our store. To be successful in this role, you will be a motivated self-starter with great communication skills and the continuous drive to help develop this growing business.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspire, lead, and continuously develop a small team of casual staff members
* Deliver outstanding customer service
* Process transactions, including up-selling and cross-selling
* Optimise stock levels and generate leads for industrial products
* Maintain a high standard of workplace health and safety compliance
* Oversee financial transactions, including billing and invoicing
* Drive new business opportunities while nurturing existing customer relationships
* Identify new products and ensure pricing and marketing strategies align with current market conditions
* Interact with and provide support to the North-West Fire Protection Service team
* Work closely with the Managing Director to report on and implement initiatives that support overall business growth
Skills and Qualifications
* Proven retail management experience
* Strong understanding of inventory management and retail merchandising
* Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop a high performing team
* Familiarity with retail operations and POS systems
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work in varying conditions
* Experience in a trade or the building industry desired
