Senior Structural DesignerLocation: Melbourne OR Perth Based
Are you ready to elevate your career? I am looking for a talented Senior Structural Designer for a full service Engineering Firm with a strong client list and project pipeline across Australia. Work on exciting project design and manage projects for tier 1 clients such as Rio, BHP, etc across AUS and overseas.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Structural Designeryou will:
* Detailed design of structural plant elements
* Prepare design drawings with sufficient detail for fabrication where required
* Work with multi-disciplinary teams
Experience
* Tertiary qualification in Structural Engineering
* 6+ years of multidisciplinary Project experience
* Relevant experience in mining, minerals processing, and/or bulk materials handling industries.
* Experience across a range of commodities, including gold, copper, lithium and iron ore
* Knowledge of industry standards in the Australian mining sector
* Experienced with design software such as MicroStation and Prosteel desirable
Excellent organisational, communication, & time management skills
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills, a go-getter attitude
