Inspired by the eclectic culture and iconic history of the surrounding neighbourhood, Ovolo the Valley draws guests into a whimsical oasis of colour and art, with surprising hints of quirkiness, custom wallpaper, eccentric furniture, and illustrations curated throughout all its spaces. Designed for effortless living, Ovolo the Valley features 103 guest rooms, Tel Aviv-inspired Restaurant ZA ZA TA and bar KAZBA, multiple event spaces, and a rooftop pool.
The Gig
From booking to check-out and beyond, as our Guest Service Agents (Wonder Makers) you'll be responsible for delivering on our promise of providing effortless and effervescent experiences for our guests. Your contagious enthusiasm teamed with your obsession with taking care of our guests will fill our lobbies with a special kind of sparkle that'll keep people coming back for more. We have one HIGA Full Time position and will require flexibility within availability.
* Greeting guests as they enter the hotel
* Checking in & out guests
* Modify and adjust guest bookings accordingly
* Promote the hotel and all it has to offer!
* Make suggestions to guests from your knowledge of the area
* Attending to guest enquiries in person or via phone, email and website
* Supporting the Front Office management team in ensuring a smooth running of hotel operations
About you
We are all about YOU. We provide a fun and exciting environment and all we ask is that you give us your dedication to our brand and most importantly, your team! You have a strong passion for customer service and ensuring ultimate customer satisfaction. We want you to be the reason the guest returns to the hotel and boasts about it to everyone! Ideally you will have previous front office experience, however if you have the right bubbly personality, we want to hear from you! You will require full working rights and a manual drivers license to be successful for this role.
