Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Recovery Support Technician to join our team. In this position, you will have the chance to facilitate self-directed recovery, promote hope and empowerment, and work collaboratively with consumers, treatment resources, and the community.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide consumer-driven services, taking into account individual needs and goals.
* Model traits such as personal responsibility, self-advocacy, and hopefulness, serving as a positive influence on those around you.
* Refer and link consumers to community resources, helping them access essential support systems.
* Attend meetings and consumer staffings, actively contributing to program development and ensuring effective collaboration with stakeholders.
* Work closely with colleagues, supervisors, facility staff members, and consumers to maintain a safe and sanitary living environment, upholding high standards of quality and care.
* Respond to calls and messages, manage mail distribution, and monitor video surveillance equipment where applicable, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work setting.
In addition to these key responsibilities, you will also be expected to:
* Promote the recovery model of treatment, incorporating principles such as trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness, and spirituality/connectedness into your daily practice.
* Collaborate with co-workers, supervisor, and facility staff members to develop and implement programs that meet the diverse needs of consumers.
Qualifications and Requirements
1. You must be at least 21 years old and possess a minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Personal experience with the recovery process and a willingness to discuss it as appropriate are highly valued.
3. Demonstrated skills in human services and experience working with adults are essential for success in this role.
4. Able to work constructively within an organizational structure and accept supervision, while maintaining a commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
5. Valid driver's license, private auto insurance, and insurability are required for this position.
6. Familiarity with basic computer skills, including MS Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, and electronic medical records, is necessary for efficient communication and data management.

The starting salary for this position is between $17.00 - $18.00 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
