Pregnancy Care Leader
We are seeking a skilled leader to drive meaningful improvements in maternity care and support the health and wellbeing of women and families across rural and remote Queensland.
About the Role
The Clinical Midwife Consultant will lead the implementation and integration of strategies under the Supporting Healthier Pregnancies Initiative, facilitating systemic improvements in maternal health services. You'll work collaboratively across teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, culturally safe, evidence-based care.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A registered midwifery qualification and current AHPRA registration
* Relevant tertiary qualification in midwifery (postgraduate qualifications highly desirable)
* Demonstrated leadership experience in midwifery practice or service improvement
* Strong knowledge of maternity care standards and public health principles
* C Class Driver's Licence

This is a permanent full-time opportunity that offers:
* Base salary from $132,562 – $143,924 p.a.
* Isolation bonuses: $3,500 (year 1), $10,500 (year 2), $7,000 (ongoing)
* 5 weeks annual leave + 17.5% leave loading
