Sublime Care is seeking an additional Speech Therapist to add to our Team of 5 as part of our larger multi-disc team of 25 based in Newcastle NSW.
As a Speech Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing essential speech and language services to our diverse client base.
This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a rewarding and supportive environment, contributing to the overall wellbeing of the individuals and communities we serve.
What you'll be doing
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans to address a range of speech and language difficulties
Delivering evidence-based therapy sessions to clients of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and coordinated care
Providing education and support to clients, families, and caregivers
What we're looking for
A recognised tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
Eligibility for registration with the Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Speech Therapist within the NDIS, preferably in a clinical or community-based setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with clients, families, and colleagues
Excellent clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
A commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
A positive, empathetic, and compassionate approach to care
