PRIMARY DETAIL • HEW Level 6 • Appointment type: Casual • Based at Macquarie University, Wallumattagal campus, North Ryde About the role We are seeking a passionate individual to provide project and administrative support to the Student Engagement, Inclusion and Belonging team, assisting with projects associated with Student Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Support the Head, Student Engagement Inclusion, and Belonging and the Manager, Student Activation and Belonging in developing a strategic student diversity and inclusion plan Support the Manager, Student Activation and Belonging with planning and briefing for student equity, diversity and inclusion student activation and education activities Provide administrative support for the Respect Now Always Program including any regulatory requirements such as the National Student Safety Survey and the Action Plan and Code addressing Gender Based Violence in Higher Education Oversee the use of the sensory space and complete administrative tasks related to its function Comply with relevant EEO and WHS regulations Perform any other duties as required and appropriate for this classification About you You’ll be a self-starting individual with excellent work organisation and time management skills and ability to remain resilient when under pressure. You will have expert planning, design and content development capabilities, able to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels. You will enjoy working in a dynamic environment, applying a methodical and consultative approach in your work, and be motivated to deliver work outputs that are of a consistent high quality. Knowledge of the Australian higher education system. Knowledge of student/customer engagement projects and programs. Knowledge of the University's policies and processes relating to student groups, committees, clubs and societies. Demonstrated experience in providing comprehensive support to committees, including the preparation of agendas and accurate recording and distribution of meeting minutes. Knowledge in administering student events and engagement initiatives. Experience analysing and reporting on data and complex business processes. Ability to build and manage partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders. Familiarity with key student committee functions. * This position requires a criminal record check and a Working with Children Check.
