Salary : Child Safety Qualified Stream Level 2, $113,000 - $125,000 pa + Super - (DOC) CPCSA
Child Safety Unqualified Stream Level 3, $107,000 - $116,000 pa + Super - (DOC) CPCSA

Position Opportunity
There is currently 1 permanent position available for immediate filling in Derby.
Responsibilities
Providing a service in conjunction with WA Police Force to families and individuals who are experiencing or contributing to domestic violence.
Assisting identified families and individuals in obtaining support and services to deal with domestic violence.
Engaging with community groups and other agencies in promoting relevant support and coordination for clients experiencing domestic violence.
Undertaking initial safety assessments of individuals and families experiencing domestic violence.
Team & Travel
Whilst based in Derby, your position forms part of the West Kimberley Family Domestic Violence Response Team, comprised of 2 other Senior Child Safety Practitioners, WA Police Force Officers and Coordinated Response Service workers.
As part of your role you will be supported with regular opportunities for travel to Broome, Fitzroy Crossing and other remote communities.

Qualification Requirements
You must have a Bachelors degree in Social Work, Psychology, or relevant human services area to be eligible for this position.
All overseas qualifications must be assessed for Australian equivalency.
