Work-life balance in the beautiful Fraser Coast region About the Role As a Speech Pathologist at ProMelius, you'll:
Provide comprehensive assessments, therapeutic interventions and complete reports for all ages referred to the service, delivered in home, clinic and community settings.
Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on client needs and best-practice approaches.
Utilise standard and informal assessment tools to evaluate speech, language, voice and fluency disorders.
Educate and support clients, families and caregivers in managing speech, language and swallowing challenges.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (including Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists) to provide holistic client care.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including reports, treatment plans and progress notes.
Communicate effectively with external stakeholders, including local Support Coordinators, medical practitioners, allied health professionals, educators and support networks.
Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners, including Support Coordinators, medical practitioners, allied health professionals, schools and community organisations.
Assist in the development of promotional materials and educational resources related to speech pathology services.

Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology
Certified with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) or eligible for membership
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience
A valid driver's licence and ability to conduct community visits
A growth mindset with interest in business development and service expansion
Nice to have (but not essential): Experience working with a diverse caseload
Private practice or community health experience
Familiarity with Medicare, private health, or aged-care funding models
