We are seeking a casual Pathology Collector to join our dedicated team in Bairnsdale, Victoria. This position is suited to self‐motivated individuals with a high attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong focus on outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
* Collection of blood and other specimens from patients.
* Attending to the care, storage and processing of pathology specimens.
* Maintaining paperwork and associated clerical duties to ensure all details are accurate and timely.
Skills and experience
* Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection or relevant industry experience.
* Exceptional customer service skills, both in person and over the telephone.
* Sound clinical knowledge.
* Effective communication with the collections team, doctors, patients and other stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently and cover weekday and weekend shifts across any of our collection centres.
* A current Driver's License.
