As a key member of the facilities management team, you will foster key relationships with tenants, service providers, and clients whilst also making recommendations to improve the building’s overall performance, risk profiles, presentation, and condition.This varied role will see you working closely with our Facilities Management team across different business segments, to learn the requirements of how to efficiently manage the day-to-day operations of key retail sites across Newcastle and Sydney.In addition, you will:Assist and oversee the maintenance and operation of building services.Provide maintenance advice ensuring clients’ quality and safety targets are met.Assist and ensure all planned preventative maintenance programmes are clearly documented, maintained, and completed on time.Assist and oversee project-based work including fit-outs and refurbishments.Assist the team with the day-to-day administrative components and responsibilities, such as work orders, audit reports, budget management, client reporting, risk management, permits, and reactive works.QualificationsThe successful candidate will have strong communication and IT skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels to deliver key outcomes for Colliers and the client.It is highly desirable that you are competent in using Microsoft Word and Excel, with strong capabilities to learn and operate various Facilities Management online platforms.If you have just completed a facilities management training course and are looking for a role to apply your new skills, this is a role that offers the opportunity to join one of Sydney’s most established and fastest growing property businesses.
