We are seeking a skilled Contracts Administrator to join our team.
* This is a part-time position, ideally 3 days per week, in our Partum Engineering business in Burswood, WA.
Key Responsibilities Include:
1. Providing commercial and contractual advice to project teams;
2. Drafting and managing Site Instructions, Variations, and Claims under both head and subcontract agreements;
3. Assessing subcontractor variations and payment claims;
4. Administering upstream claims to protect contractual entitlements and ensure policy compliance;
5. Attending project management meetings to support change management and issue resolution;
6. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive improvements and manage risk;
7. Monitoring contract performance and implementing practical solutions to ensure project success.
Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
1. Tertiary qualifications in Contracts, Business Law or related field (qualifications in Project Management or Quantity Surveying highly regarded);
2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within energy or infrastructure projects;
3. Strong knowledge of the AS4000 suite of contracts and relevant legislation, including safety and security of payment;
4. Proven experience in commercial negotiation and client relationship management;
5. Sound understanding of planning and scheduling principles (Primavera P6 desirable);
6. Excellent time management, communication, and presentation skills;
7. Solid understanding of Occupational Health & Safety practices.
