Ironbuilt Infrastructure is a growing civil construction contractor delivering infrastructure projects across NSW, including sewer pump stations, sewer rising mains, water infrastructure and major civil works.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Civil Excavator Operator to join our team working on projects across the Illawarra and South Coast.
About the Role
You will play a key role in our civil construction crew operating excavators for trenching and underground infrastructure installation.
Key responsibilities include:
* Operating excavators for trenching and civil infrastructure works
* Working safely around existing underground utilities and services
* Supporting the installation of sewer, stormwater and water pipelines
* Maintaining clean, safe and organised work areas
* Working closely with pipelayers, supervisors and site crews
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Proven experience as an Excavator Operator on civil construction projects
* Experience with trenching and working around underground services
* Strong attention to detail and safe operating practices
* Relevant machine tickets / VOC
* Driver’s licence
* Ability to work effectively within a civil construction team
