Our team is seeking an experienced IT Operations Engineer to help ensure our infrastructure runs securely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in maintaining high-availability environments, with hands-on experience in monitoring, incident response, and performance tuning across cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
Demonstrated proficiency in Linux systems administration, including troubleshooting, scripting, and performance optimization is essential.
Hands-on experience with disk imaging and OS migration, transferring operating systems between drives with accuracy and reliability is also required.
A strong understanding of networking principles, with practical knowledge of SaaS platforms and cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure and Office 365 is necessary.
Commitment to secure operations, with proven experience implementing access controls, patching protocols, and compliance frameworks to safeguard data and support audit readiness is a must.
The role involves assessing and supporting hardware and software requirements for collocated and managed hosting environments across multiple business units.
Excellent documentation practices, paired with strong analytical, communication, and time management skills, ensuring clarity, collaboration, and timely delivery of IT solutions are expected.
Additionally, the ability to work collaboratively with the IT Operations team to provide end-user support and assist with day-to-day technical tasks is required.
Compliance with procedures to ensure ongoing compliance as a PCI DSS Level 1 Service Provider and as certified to ISO 27001:2013, SOC2, and IRAP is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and define hardware and software needs for collocated and managed hosting environments.
Identify opportunities to enhance hardware and software performance, and contribute to implementation of improvements.
Ensure stability and performance of application environment across all business units.
Manage servers and workstations throughout their lifecycle.
Support upkeep and monitoring of network devices to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.
Collaborate with IT Operations team to provide end-user support and assist with day-to-day technical tasks.
Requirements:
